Snow Sucks !!!!!

So, just like everyone else I hate snow !

I hate everything about it, how it looks, how it smells how it tastes, I hate driving in it, I hate seeing it come down, I hate it with green eggs and ham, I hate shoveling it EVERYTHING !!!!!

This is a picture of my castle, we put up a lot more lights this year then we normally would. See, in my suburb they always give a prize to the prettiest house. Last years winner was a shitty little house with barley any lights so last year The Wife and I bought a bunch of stuff after new years at a huge discount. If we don’t win I’m going to get really pissed off, the prize better be good because I was up there freezing my ass off a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had put lights on the peak of the house, I did the peak of the garage but I was too much of a chicken to do the peak at the front of the house…..I mean my ladder wasn’t high enough, I need a bigger ladder so that I can get up there.

The second picture is of the Ginger Bread house my boss gave me for Christmas, wasn't that nice of him ?

I LOVE SNOW!!! It's so pretty. In a perfect world we would all be at home in pajamas drinking coffee (or hot cocoa) lounging and watching the snow fall.

For now, I have to go find the shovel...

That's a great photo. You should definitely have had a go at putting lights all over the roof like that guy in National Lampoons Christmas...

Like Esmeralda I like the snow if I at home watching it fall not stuck in traffic for 2 hours.

Snow..

SUCKS.

I'm writing this right now while I'm at work wondering how the hell I'm going to get home....

I've gotta drive 35 miles north on the interstate that they just closed a little south of here...

Myself, I put lights in the windows, but because I've got a 3-story house, I tend not to put lights on the eaves, because I can't stand being up that high just to make the outside look all "pretty".

Instead, I'm going to make templates of words that I can hang on my hedges outside, and put lights on them.. That way I'll look all "artsy" and "crafty" without really having to do much besides pound a stake or two into the ground....

Who is this everyone else that you speak of? Cause I gotta tell you, I kinda like snow Dan. I don't appreciate you speaking for me.

I've done a few of those gingerbread houses but they've never looked like that! Of course, my "helpers" were little kids who didn't believe in uniformity so it totally was not my fault.

I think that peak needs lights. You could lose because of that.

Tracy Rambles On And On said...

Ooh, ooh, I just thought of something that could save the peak without you falling off the roof!

They make these light things that project a picture of santa or other holiday pictures onto the side of your house.
Run out and get one and point it at the top of the house. NOW.

Dan? Daniel? Are you there?

You didn't fall off the roof hanging more lights did you? I told you that you didn't have to do that!

Snow rocks! Of course, I've never had to shovel it ... and we only get it like once every 10 years, so I guess I've had a different experience with it.
